This is a very special setup looking at a security point of view. When we give permission for an employee for using the AUG ERP from a specific PC, he will not be allowed to use the software from another PC. If he wants to use the software from a different PC, he has to seek permission for this.
In the user module go for Organization Setup and then General Configuration. We have a field “ENABLE BLOCK DEVICE”. On activating this and saving it, the activated field comes into action.
One important thing may be noted that the employees using the software will not be disturbed if suddenly this field is activated. This function will get activated as soon as he logs out and tries to log in again on a different PC.
First of all the super admin user has to use a valid E-Mail. The employee's permission notification will come in two places.
1. In his Email. He can approve or reject it from his email.
2. On clicking the Profile, in the top right corner of the page, you get different options. One is a “Block Device”. On clicking this we can see all the requests for permission. The super admin can approve or reject it from here.
After approval, the employee can use the software from a different PC for which permission has been given.
