In the Manufacturing Module, when we bring the cursor on Configuration, we can see many functions as below-
‘Process Configuration’ is one of the functions, under which we can see different features. Now clicking the marked function above we get the following features, as follows -
Department - This is the master of the Department. Here we can create the department and also restrict the users. The user specified in the master of the department will be able to visualize and edit the department and others can not see the department.
Machine - There are different machines which are used for production. These machines produce ornaments in bulk. After this, the ornaments go through different processes. Before it goes, all the specific ornament falls into the stock of that machine. From this feature, we can know the performance and the quantity produced by that machine.
Process Category - There are different categories in manufacturing such as polishing, setting, casting etc., which have different processes. With the help of this feature, we can add different categories.
Process - In the category, there may be different processes e.g. Polish has two processes First Polish and Repeat Polish. Using this feature we can add ‘n’ number of processes under one category.
Order Comment - When we want to pass instruction specific or general, this feature can be used. This can be viewed in order (New or Edit). We can add a variety of comments through this feature.
Wastage Type - When we give the ornaments for manufacturing, the manufacturer takes charge. The name of different varieties of charges is registered here, which is reflected in the price list.
Product Category - This is the master feature for creating different Product Categories. E.g. Ring is one Category. In this, it includes gents' and ladies' rings. The effect of this can be seen in the report.
Product - Many products were manufactured before manufacturing, which can be included here. Without the product no manufacturing is possible.
Product Opening - We may have many products, with different stocks in-house. This can be updated with the help of this feature.
Batch Prefix - Batch production is always numerical numbers, prefix alphabets can differentiate it. This is where we can create the Prefix Master.
Process-Based Product - When we have one product, this feature is useful. Here we can set the end product of each process. When we receive any product after any process, the end product will come as default as we set here.
