This Item Ledger is very useful to monitor the sales of specific Items in a specific period. This also shows the salesman's details in his running business.
In Inventory and Supply Chain, by putting the cursor on the report, we can see many functions. Transaction is one of them.
Clicking on Transaction, we get many features. Item Ledger is one of them.
On clicking Item Ledger we get the following screen and clicking on 🔽 we get the following:-
We can see the different fields for the search.
Item Category - If we want the search by Item Category, we can select from the dropdown the Item Category.
Item Sub Category - If we want the search by Item Sub Category, we can select from the dropdown.
Item Group - If we want the report regarding the Item Group, we can select this field.
Item Name - If we want the report of some specific Item, we can fill up this field.
Branch - Whichever branch, we require, have to fill up in this field, to get the report of that branch.
Customer - If we want the report regarding any Customer, we have to select this field.
User - We can also find the reports using Users. By this, we can know the performance of the salesman.
Period - We can select the period of the report from here.
Group By - We have to select the group as per our choice from the dropdown.
Report By Bill - We have to select the type of Bill Report we want.
After selecting the type of field we require, click the Generate button.
Now we can see the report Item-wise. Through this report, we can know the maximum sale of a specific item within a specific period. There are many permutations and combinations regarding the search.
If we want the printout in PDF or Excel format, we can click the required button.
