This feature is only meant for refining. Sometimes customers sell old Gold and

purchase a new one. Sometimes old designs which are not been sold for a long

time are sent for refining (melting) and converting to new designs. Sometimes

URD Purchase is being done and sent for refining and some items if felt that it

can be sold to customers directly, then the selected item, Lot & Tag is created

and placed in the showroom for sale.

Effect -

The effect of this is on the following Reports

1. Metal Report

2. Stock Ledger.

3. Item Ledger.

4. Refine Report.

On clicking Refining, we get the following.

There are four sections as above

1. My Stock - Whichever old Gold Purchase (i.e. URD Purchase), will be

   reflected in My Stock. The only thing you have to remember is that in

   that specific item “WANT TO KEEP LABELS WITH THIS ITEM”, you have to select ‘No’,

   only the specific Item will be visible in My Stock.

1. You have to select the Item Group from the drop-down.

2. You have to select the Item Name from the drop-down.

3. Then click the ‘Generate’ button.

The following details will be coming.

4. You have to tick mark the 🗹 box.

5. Then click the ‘Transfer’ button.

6. Then all those Items will be shifted ‘Pending Dhal’

7. On clicking ‘Action’ 

1. Split Dhal - On clicking this we get

1. This is the total wt of the metal.

2. This is the total wt. To be refined.

3. Out of this, a few items you want to make Lot for re-sale can be entered here.

4. There are many items like chain locks, loose links etc. These items can be entered in Mix Stock Entry. 

Note - 1=2+3+4

After this Dhal Entry and saving it, this will go for refining (melting) and the data will be shifted to Pending Received.

On receiving the data in Pending Received following is the screen.

On clicking ‘Action’, there are two options 1. Receive 2. Print

On clicking Receive we get the following screen.

1. Total wt of the material given for refining (melting).

2. After refining the metal received.

3. Dokda Kasar Entry - A material loss for given for purity or touch checking.

4. Refine Kasar Entry - At the time of refining, the materials mixed with the ornament are segregated. That is a loss. This has to be entered here.

Note.- 1= 2+3+4

After this Save it.

The Metal Received will be reflected in METAL REFINE.
