This is the feature that allows you to update the items and their less items of any touch and any price list.
In Inventory and Supply Chain when we bring the cursor on Configuration, we can see many functions.
Add Update Type - There are two options as follows
Add - If we want to add a new less Item, we can select this option.
Add Update - If we want to add a new less update we have to select this option.
2. Price List Group Type - We have to select the options for which type of price list we want to update.
All - We have to select this option if we want to update in Customer and Supplier.
Customer - We must select this option if we want the update only in the Customer’s Price List.
Supplier - We must select this option if we want the update only in the Supplier’s Price List.
3. Price List Group Update Type -
a. All - We have to select this when we want to update in all the Price List Groups.
b Price List Less Update Only - We have to select this when we want to update only the less items.
c. Item / Group Wise Less Add Update - When we want to update any Item of any Item Group, then we have to select this option. Selecting this, the Item and Item Group become mandatory.
d. All Category / Item Less Add Update - We have to select this when we want to update all Category.
4. Item List - We have to select the item of which you want to update
5. Item Group - We have to select the Item Group of which we want to update.
6. Price List Group - We have to select all the Price List Groups which we want to update.
Next comes the row of the details of the Item Group, which we want to update.
Touch - As soon we select the Item Group field on the top, this Touch field gets filled up automatically.
Wastage - We have to enter the wastage, we want to update.
Sub Total - This field is auto-calculated. The calculation is Touch plus wastage.
Labour On - We have to select the options on which we want to want the calculation to be made.
Labour - We have to enter the Labour rate, which we want to update.
Narration - We can put our narration if we want.
Next, we can see the Less Item details which we want to update.
Item Name - We can view the less Items.
Less in Bill - We have to select Yes or No from the drop-down, as per our requirement. If we want to subtract the less Item from the bill we have to select Yes other wise No.
Less - We have to enter the percentage we want to add or subtract.
Amount Calculation on - We have to select on which the calculation is to be made.
Rate - We have to enter the rate of the less item.
Less Add Update Type - From the drop down we have to select Yes or No. Whenever we want to update any less item, we have to select Yes, otherwise it will not be updated.
After entering the details we can update it. Thus we can update Item, Item Group and the Less Items.
