Price lists can be
created Category-wise, sub-category-wise, item-wise, group-wise or touch-wise. We
can also make a price list design group-wise by activating the price-list
setting. For example, we have 10 top designs of ornaments in our stock, for
which we want to add some specific wastage, and then we add those designs to this
specific Design Group Master. For this, we can create the design Masters from
here, and then the designs of the ornaments are attached to this master, so at
the time of price-list billing, all the ornament under one group has the wastage.
Let us go to Inventory and Supply Chain and bring the cursor to Configuration. By doing so, we can see many functions, including a price list.
Clicking this, we get
Clicking Design Group Master, we get list of Design Group Masters
On the right end of each Design Group Master, there is an action button.
Clicking this, we get different options. We can use these options as per our
requirements.
If we want to add a new Design Group Master, we must click the plus sign in
the top right corner of the page. Clicking this opens up a pop-up as follows –
We have to fill in the details and save it.
Now I will show you how this master affects the price list.
First, I want to show you how the designs are included in the Design Group
Masters. Let us go for a specific design
As shown above, if we select a specific Design group master from the drop-down
and save it, then all the designs under the same group master will show as one price list.
Now, let us go to the price list setting. When we click Customer Price List
Group
We can set the price list of Design Group Master from here and save it. All
the ornaments of different Touches which are under that group will be charged as
the same Wastage as set here. Like that, different groups can be set at different
wastages.
