All the sub-categories are further divided into different Items.  

For example - A ring is one category. Then it is further segregated into Gents Ring, Ladies Ring, and Kids Ring. These are sub-categories. Further, these sub-categories are divided into different Items, like Plain Ring, Diamond Ring, Couple Ring, Royal Design Ring, Wedding Ring etc. These are Items.

The effect of the item can be seen throughout the software. Without this, no transaction or retail sales can be done. The manufacturing sector can not be operated without this feature.

INVENTORY AND SUPPLY CHAIN => CONFIGURATION => INVENTORY SETUP


On clicking ‘Item’ we get
  1. Apps - We have to switch it on if we want to show the item in Apps., otherwise put it off.

  2. Status - We can activate or deactivate the item, by operating the switch.

  3. Action - Clicking the action we get different options as a dropdown. We can use it as per our requirements.

  1. View We can view the Item details.

  2. Edit - On clicking this we can edit the entry.

  3. Delete - We can delete the entry.

  4. Copy - We make a duplicate entry with the help of this option.

  5. Changes - With the help of this we can see who has created it and updated it.

  6. Update Item Minimum Stock - On clicking this we can update the minimum stock.

     4. If we want to add a new Item we have to click the (+) button on the top right corner of the page. Clicking this we get a pop-up as follows -


  1. Item Category - We have to select the Item Category from the drop-down under which this Item lies.

  2. Item Sub-Category - We have to select the Item Sub-Category from the drop-down under which this Item lies.

  3. Metal Type - We have to select the metal with which is Item is made.

  4. Is Mixed - We have to select Yes/No, if it is mixed select Yes.

  5. Item Name - We have to enter the name of the Item.

  6. Short Name - Enter the short name.

  7. Item Group - By the side of this Item Group, you can see a box [Check All], clicking this box, we can add all the Groups and if we want to remove then we have to click [Un Check All], all the groups will be removed.

  8. Item Type - From the drop-down we have to select the type of Item.

  9. Status - We can activate/deactive the status.

  10. Min Weight - We have to enter the minimum weight of that Item, below which the software will allow you to process further.

  11. Is Dhal Badalo Item - This is used in manufacturing. When we melt the item, if we change it to Dhal, then we have to select Yes, otherwise No.

  12. HSN Code - We have to enter the HSN Code of this Item.

  13. Labour Amount - We have to enter the labour amount here so that whenever we go for this item for purchase or sale the labour amount will come automatically.

  14. Is Order Item - If we select Yes while going for an order, the Item can be seen in the drop-down.

  15. Is Real Diamond - If the Item is a real diamond, select yes, otherwise No.

  16. Size Option - If we select Yes, then when we go for this Item in sale or purchase, the size option field can be seen, so that we can enter the size.

  18. Is Labour Rate Required In TAG / BILL - If we need the Labour rate in Tag & Bill, we have to select Yes, otherwise No.

  19. Is show in Apps - If we want to show this Item in Apps select Yes.

  20. Want To Keep Labels With This Item - If we want to make a Tag for this Item, then select Yes, otherwise No.

  21. Display Sequence - Write the display sequence.

  22. Count Fine Into Bill - If we select yes, the Fine calculation will be shown in the bill, if it is No, then the fine will shown as zero.

  23. Is Rectangle - If you want to show the image in Order Print select Yes.

  24. URD Rate Type - At the time of URD purchase, the rate must be considered. It can be a Purchase Rate, Exchange Rate or Sales Rate. We have to select the rate type we want to apply.

  25. Metal Rate Required Into Bill - In Bills if we want to mention the metal rate select Yes.

  26. Use For Order - Select Yes if this Item is used in Order. On selecting Yes at the time of order the item will be coming in the drop-down.

  27. Is URD Item - At the time of URD purchase the Item can be seen in the drop-down, if we select Yes.

  28. Is Bulk Tag - If we want the Item to be added to the Bulk Tag, we have to select Yes. Then while making a bulk Tag we can see the Item in the drop-down.

  29. Item Rate per GRAM: It is used for Bar Code and we can see the rate in Tag Print.

  30. Create Manufacturing Product - When we tick mark the check box, then this Item can be used in Manufacturing.

Fill up the details, and save it. Thus we can add a new Item.
