This feature, ‘reason’ in the Inventory and Supply Chain module is the master setup reason.
Whenever we cancel, edit, or modify the orders, the software will ask for the reason. A variety of reasons can be added here so that the reasons can come as a dropdown in the Master Apps.

On clicking the Inventory Setup, we get many features.
On clicking Reason, we get
On clicking the action button, we get the options as shown above. The options can be used as per our requirements.
If we want to add a new reason, we have to click on this sign.
On clicking this a pop-up opens up. We can enter the name and save it. Thus we can save a new reason.
Now I will show you the effect of the feature. The effect can be seen in Master Apps.

On clicking “Change Status”, we get two options Decline or Customer cancel. On clicking any option we get a pop-up as follows. When we click “Select Reason”, we get the drop-down. These drop-downs are the one which we had added in ERP Software.
