CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. It's a system that helps businesses manage their interactions with customers and prospects. The goal of CRM is to improve customer relationships and grow the business.
The tour is an activity. Here we have first to create the Tour or Exhibition. After creating the Tour, the status will be ‘Pending’. The authorized person has to first approve it, and then only the Tag of the ornaments can be scanned under that Tour or Exhibition. One important thing to be noted is that the Tag attached to the design number can only be scanned for Exhibition and for Tour is not compulsory.
In CRM, when we put the cursor on the Activity Menu, we can see many functions. The tour is one of them, shown as follows -
Clicking this, we get
On the right side of each entry, we can see an Action button. Clicking this a drop-down opens up, as shown above -
View - Clicking this we can view the details of that Tour.
Edit - Clicking this option, we can edit the Tour or Exhibition.
Delete - This is the option for deleting that entry.
Changes - Clicking this we can see the creator’s and updater's name and details.
Issue - This option is for the printout of the total weight of the items to be taken on tour.
Receive - This option is for the printout of the total weight of the items returned after the tour.
After receiving the ornaments i.e. after all the Tags are scanned and returned, then the Tour can be closed.
Next to the ‘Action’ button, we can see one more button known as ‘S.Action’. Clicking this we get the options shown below -
The entry can be Rejected, Closed, Approved or Canceled with the help of this option. After entering this Tour Master, the tour Status will be showing as ‘Pending’. Tags will not be allowed in this pending status. First, we have to approve it, then the Tags can be scanned in this Tour.
The Tour can not be Rejected, Canceled or Closed if any Tags are yet to be received, which had been issued in the Tour. If we do so a notification will pop up showing that still some Tags are not yet received.
When we close the Tour, the entry will disappear from the display and if we want to see the entry of the closed Tour, then we have to click Ctrl+Shift+A The display is shown below
Now we can also see the closed tours.
When we want to make a new Tour, we have to click the (+) symbol on the top right corner. Clicking this a pop-up opens up
The details added in the Marketing Campaign will be will be coming in the drop-down. We have to select anyone.
We can give our Tour Name.
We have to enter the date on which the Tour starts.
We have to enter the Tour ending date.
From the drop-down, we have to select the name of the person, who is responsible for the Tour.
We can add add more than one city, where we are going to go as per the plan.
We have to select from the drop-down, the associate person's name.
From the drop-down, we have to select the type of Tour.
The branch is to be selected, from where the Tag will be issued.
Entering the details save it. This we can make a new Tour in Tour Master.
After creating the Tour in the Tour Master, we can add the plan details. This can be done when we edit the Tour. On editing the Tour a page opens up with two Tabs, Tour and Plan. Clicking the tab named ‘Plan’, we get the following -
Here we can add all the destinations in the Tour. The places we are to visit in the Tour. We can add all the places to be visited by clicking the (+) sign on the top right corner of the page. Clicking this a pop-up opens up as below -
Enter the date on which we planned to visit him/her.
We have to enter the time we have scheduled to visit.
We have to select from the drop-down, the type of customer we want to visit.
Select the name to be contacted in the Tour.
If we have contacted the person and taken an appointment, then here we have to select ‘Yes’ otherwise ‘No’.
Thus we can enter the detailed plan of the Tour made.
